Event Description:
The Sparta Half Marathon/5K course is run on the scenic Sparta-Elroy bike trail. Racers will enjoy colorful scenery while running on a beautiful fall morning. Race Director Andy Hutson and his team put together a great event each year. This race is part of Sparta’s Fall Fest celebration, so be sure to head downtown after you've crossed the finish line. The race starts and finishes at the historic railroad depot, 111 Milwaukee St, Sparta.
Date/Time Information:
Saturday, October 9th. The Half Marathon begins at 8:00 AM, the 5K Walk/Run begins at 8:15 AM. Packet pick-up at the railroad depot on Friday, October 8th from 10 AM - 6 PM and again on Saturday prior to the race from 6:30-7:45 AM.
