Every Thursday enjoy FREE admission to take photos around the sunflower fields and explore the sunflower mini-maze from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Located at Justin Trails Resort 7452 Kathryn Avenue, Sparta Wisconsin. We are in the country about 8 miles south of Sparta. Photo opportunities include a bright orange 1950 Case tractor, a straw bale couch inside one of the sunflower fields, and more! The steep hills and vistas leading up to and surrounding Justin Trails Resort are nothing less than spectacular. A colorful array of birds, butterflies, flowers, and forest surround the sunflower fields. The location was the Justin family’s dairy farm since 1916 and has been used as a Bed and Breakfast Resort since the 1980s. “This is our third year growing sunflowers. The first year we had 6 rows, in the second year one field, and this year we have 3 fields. Farmer Al plants the sunflowers, harvests, and sells the black oil sunflower seeds as bird seed. Our guests delight in the eye-catching view of the sunflower fields from The Lodge where we serve breakfast every morning,” said Donna Justin co-owner of Justin Trails Resort. “I love seeing the photos folks take with our sunflowers. I especially enjoy watching families explore our sunflower mini-maze.”
